Sad Friends is located in the American Industrial Center South Building. To get to the space, take the elevator to the second floor. The studio will be on the left.

Are classes refundable?
Classes are non-refundable. They can, however, be transferred to another individual prior to the start date. Contact us to coordinate the transfer!
What if I miss a class?
If you miss a class, please reach out to us to see if there is an available makeup date within the session time. No refunds or credits will be offered if classes are missed.
Can I bring in outside clay?
No. Please only use clay bought from Sad Friends as our clay is compatible with the studio glazes. The price of our clay includes firing fees and available glazes.
Do you offer firing services?
We do not offer firing services for non-members.
How is your studio's work fired?
Pieces are first fired to cone 04 in an electric kiln and glaze fired at cone 6 oxidation.
How do I know when classes are open?
Class openings are first alerted to those on our newsletter and on Instagram.
Are all ages welcome?
Members must be 18+. Students 14-17 years of age may take classes but must be accompanied by a guardian during their time in the studio.
